Yes, you are required to bring your own ShopVac or DataVac that is capable of blowing and vacuuming, as listed in the Required Tools. Most of the job will be spent using the blower.

The last steps for both the note and coin recycler is to vacuum out the bottom of the machines because this is where all the dirt and dust ends up at the end of the cleaning.

If you do not have a ShopVac, we do allow electric dusters as they are very effective in cleaning - you just have to be careful cleaning out the bottom of the machines as to not blow all the last bit of dirt back into the machine.
