What are the required (and recommended) tools?
You are required to bring these tools with you to every Preventative Maintenance work order:
Shop Vac with blower
Blower is the critical part. The job can be done with just the blower if a vacuum is not available.
A 1-1/4” duster attachment is helpful, if you don’t have a small nozzle
If you don’t own a ShopVac, then an Electric Duster is an good option (see our Amazon list)
Canned air is never allowed.
Microfiber cloths
Spray bottle with water - water only, no solvents or detergent
Swabs - foam or cotton swabs
Plastic scraper tool - any kind of plastic scraper, just no metal
Screwdrivers: Phillips (#1 or #2)
Needle nose pliers or small wrench
The following tools are recommended:
N95 dust mask - You want to always wear a mask, trust us. It’s very dusty!
Gloves - helpful when cleaning around the metal parts.
Extension cord - depending on the length of your Shop Vac cord, having a two-prong extension cord is handy.
